Order
Orders will be dispatched within 1-3 business days after placing your order.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email from us with tracking details as soon as your order is dispatched.
If you believe your item may have a manufacturing fault, please email essem@studioessem.com and include your order number, along with at least 3 high-resolution photos that clearly show the issue. Once we receive this information, our team will review the details and assist you further.
Please note: to be eligible for a return, the original hang tag must remain attached and cannot be removed. Returns cannot be processed if the hang tag has been removed.
International orders are shipped Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU).
This means that import duties, VAT, and any customs handling fees are not included in your order total at checkout and may be charged by your local customs authority or courier upon arrival in your country. These charges are set by local authorities and are outside of our control.
Customs fees vary by country and may represent a percentage of the item value, plus local VAT and a courier processing fee. We recommend checking your local import regulations if you would like an estimate before ordering.
If you choose not to pay the requested customs fees, the parcel will be returned to us. In this case, we will issue a refund for the item minus the return shipping cost once the package is received back.

When an international order is on its way, it's normal for tracking to have some delays and not update for a few days. If you're concerned, you can submit a customer inquiry directly to the courier on the tracking webpage. However, if your tracking hasn't been updated in 15 business days, please email us at essem@studioessem.com, and we'll be able to help you further.
It's also very normal for your parcel's tracking to stop updating once it arrives in customs. We don't have control over border agencies and cannot intervene in their clearance processes. If the customs agency requires information, documents, or payment of any duty/tax fees, they will contact you directly. If you have not received any correspondence, please get in touch with your local customs office directly before contacting us.
Usually, when there has been an attempted delivery of your parcel, it is being held at your local post office for you to collect. The first thing you should do is contact your local post office and ask if they have any information about the parcel. Parcels are usually held for up to two weeks. If you have no luck here, please email us at essem@studioessem.com, and we can assist you further.
